Reducing Carbon Footprint – For a Sustainable Future

At AD Company, we strive to minimize our negative environmental impact. By carefully selecting recycled materials, ensuring high product quality, and using eco-friendly transportation solutions, we work towards ensuring that our products leave as small a carbon footprint as possible. This is a holistic effort that spans from raw materials to the final product.

To make informed decisions, we measure the carbon footprint of our products using the GHG method (Greenhouse Gas Protocol), an internationally recognized standard for reporting greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure that we don’t only focus on carbon dioxide emissions but also on other greenhouse gases, which allows us to identify and reduce the most significant impact points.

A key part of our sustainability efforts is working closely with suppliers to create transparency throughout the entire production chain. Recycled materials are central to this work, as they reduce the need for new raw materials, save natural resources, and reduce emissions from production.

We calculate the carbon footprint of all our products according to the three scopes of the GHG protocol:

Scope 1: Direct emissions from our operations (e.g., fuel emissions from vehicles)
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy (e.g., electricity purchases)
Scope 3: Indirect emissions from transportation and goods purchases
We are convinced that long-term, sustainable choices are the best for both your brand and the environment. By making conscious decisions regarding materials, manufacturing, and logistics, we create products that not only maintain high quality but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
