Quality – A Responsibility We Take Seriously

Thorough inspections, clear requirements and products designed to be used.

A high-quality product should meet expectations in terms of materials, functionality, workmanship and design. At AD company, quality is about more than delivering a well-made product. It means taking responsibility throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring that what has been agreed upon is also what is delivered.

Quality also matters from an environmental perspective. Products designed for long-term and repeated use can reduce the need for premature replacement. At the same time, thorough quality controls can help prevent production errors, rejected goods and resource-intensive rework.

That is why we take a systematic approach to quality assurance – from product development and material selection to manufacturing, final inspection and follow-up.

Quality Begins Long Before Production

The foundation of successful production is clear requirements and a shared understanding of how the finished product should look and perform.

We work with detailed product specifications and purchasing procedures defining materials, dimensions, colours, construction and packaging. For custom-made factory orders, a Pre-Production Sample (PPS) is prepared and approved by the customer before mass production begins.

The approved sample then serves as a reference throughout production, giving both us and the manufacturer a clear understanding of the requirements the product must meet.

Quality Controls Throughout Manufacturing

Our quality assurance process includes several inspection stages, helping us identify and address deviations before products reach our customers.

Pre-Production Sample (PPS)
A reference sample is prepared and approved before mass production begins. The approved sample forms the basis for subsequent quality inspections.

During Production Inspection (DUPRO)
During manufacturing, selected processes and details are inspected, including materials, dyeing, printing and stitching. The aim is to identify potential deviations at a stage when corrective action can still be taken.

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
Once production is complete, a final inspection is carried out before the goods leave the factory. Products are checked through sampling against the approved reference sample and agreed specifications. Packaging, labelling and other delivery requirements are also included.

Through these stages, we work to identify quality issues as early as possible and reduce the risk of incorrect deliveries.

Internal and Independent Quality Inspections

Our quality assurance programme includes both internal and external inspections. By combining our own quality controls with independent inspections, we can monitor whether products meet the agreed requirements.

For external inspections, we work with QIMA, an international company specialising in quality control and product inspections.

Inspections follow established checklists and cover aspects such as workmanship, dimensions, functionality, printing, labelling and packaging.

For sampling inspections, we use AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit), an internationally established method based on ISO 2859-1. This involves examining a statistically selected sample of products and evaluating the results against predefined acceptance limits for different types of defects.

Defects are classified as minor, major or critical, depending on their impact on the product's appearance, functionality and safety.

If an inspection reveals that the requirements have not been met, we follow up with the manufacturer and request corrective actions before the shipment can be approved.

Long-Term Partnerships and Continuous Improvement

Quality is not achieved through inspections alone. It also depends on knowledge, clear communication and close cooperation with manufacturers.

We work with carefully selected manufacturing partners, combining our own quality procedures with external inspections and ongoing follow-up. We also consider suppliers' quality management systems and independent certifications, such as ISO 9001, when evaluating and monitoring manufacturers.

When deviations occur, understanding their root causes and working together with the supplier is essential to preventing similar issues from recurring.

Through continuous monitoring and the exchange of experience, we develop our procedures, products and partnerships over time.

Quality That Strengthens Your Brand

A promotional product represents more than the company that manufactures it. It also carries our customer's brand.

That is why quality plays an important role in building trust. Through clear specifications, structured inspections and long-term supplier relationships, we work to deliver products that meet both our own expectations and those of our customers.

For us, quality is not a single inspection at the end of production – it is a commitment that follows the product every step of the way.
